Oh, HI and WELCOME!  I'm Shawn and I'm passionate about keeping things simple. I want easy to pronounce ingredient names, products that benefit and protect my skin, and make me smell and look good. I think that can be accomplished with handmade body care items and that's what I strive for with my shop. I also like to incorporate a bit of my own personal style into the items that I make, by using bright colors and scents. I don't think that caring for your skin has to be boring, it can be fresh and fun! Everything I make is from scratch and is made just for you when ordered.

My shop was born out of my desire to provide my family with less chemical and commercially produced body care items. After researching ingredients in store bought soaps and detergents and their side effects, I decided to learn more about a simple approach with handmade products. I make all my items without the use of pre-made bases or synthetic surfactants and I develop and test all my recipes (on willing humans, never on animals!) before an item is placed in the shop for sale. Most fragrances are phthalate and paraben free (listings than contain phthalates are disclosed). Most of my products contain no preservatives. When preservative is used (because it contains water or may come in contact with water), it is formaldehyde and paraben free. Since starting my shop, I've been able to transition my household into mostly chemical free handmade alternatives to commercial soaps, detergents, lotions, and cleansers.

Scrubs and lotion were my first adventure in product making, but my real passion is lip balm. I can't get through the day with dry lips so I make sure I have balm wherever I go. It's not uncommon for me to have 5-10 lip butters in my purse pocket at a time. You'll find dozens and dozens of lip butter flavors in my shop and I encourage my customers to get creative to come up with their own flavors. I love custom orders!
